Carpathian Asset Management Limited (“CAM”) is appointed by Carpathian Plc as Property Investment Adviser.
 
CAM has an established presence in the Central and Eastern European retail property market and enjoys strong relationships with senior brokers and principal organisations in the region.

CAM is responsible for identifying acquisition targets, and managing transactions and portfolios on behalf of Carpathian Plc and its allied investors.

Senior professionals within CAM are involved in all stages of stock selection, negotiations, management strategies, and recommendations to the Carpathian Plc board. These professionals have long established working relationships, enabling a close operational understanding, good communication and a decisive approach.

The present team has been with Carpathian since inception in 2005.  The principals, Massimo Marcovecchio and Paul Rogers have been in partnership since 2000 and the wider management team is formed from a stable multi disciplinary platform.  
 
The team's track record is established in the arranging, negotiating and structuring of investor groups into real estate in the UK and CEE regions and delivering superior realised equity returns.

The senior management of CAM who are responsible for advising the Directors of Carpathian Plc are:

Paul Rogers (Dip Prop Inv FRICS)
32 years’ experience.
Background in private practice, within leasing, development, and investment.
Since 1995, undertaking Principal investment activity throughout the UK and CEE countries.
Personal responsibility for deal sourcing, purchase and sale negotiations, due diligence, arranging debt and equity co-investments.
Managing and overseeing investment and management teams in four countries, and operational joint ventures.
Reporting to investment Boards and shareholders.
 
Massimo Marcovecchio (BSc (Hons), MBA, MRICS, ACIOB, MBENG) 
21 years’ experience.
Responsible for identifying new business areas and strategies, set up of investment vehicles and management teams overseeing fund strategies and guiding asset negotiations.
Background in property investment & finance. Trained with Daniel Smith (now Cluttons) and Legal and General Properties.
Previously with the Rotch Property Group’s Corporate Property Finance Team, pioneering innovative financial engineering techniques.
Non-executive Director of Network Housing Group, a G15 Housing Association with circa 20,000 properties in and around London
 
Simon Killick (LLB (Hons), Solicitor, England & Wales, admitted 1985)

25 years’ experience.

Previously Corporate Partner, Olswang and D J Freeman London.

Joined the Dawnay, Day Group (“DDG”) as first Group Legal Counsel in December 2005.

Advised the DDG externally, then internally, on both Dawnay Shore Hotels PLC and Dawnay, Day Carpathian PLC.

Responsible for managing and co-ordinating the legal operations and corporate finance functions, including all legal aspects of fund structuring, fund investments, divestments and financings

 

Balazs Csepregi
Balazs is responsible for the finance function including investor relations, corporate finance, reporting, tax, risk management and corporate strategy.  He has 15 years' experience in international finance with 10 years spent in the real estate industry.  He trained with Arthur Andersen Hungary, then joined Man Group PLC in London and previously set up and managed the financial functions of real estate funds in Central and Southern Europe with CERPF B.V. (co-managed with Lehman Brothers and Jones Lang LaSalle) and Pradera AM PLC.

James Armstrong (BSc (Hons), MRICS)
A chartered Surveyor with 15 years’ property experience, James is responsible for sourcing, analysing, financing and executing investment and development deals. James has over 15 years of broad, cross-sector, real estate experience, having previously worked at CB Hillier Parker and Donaldsons before joining the CAM team in 2000.

Allan Munro-Faure (MRICS)
Allan is responsible for all development activities within the existing portfolio as well as new investments. Allan has 27 years’ experience in private consultancy and development advisory; he joined PanTerra in 2003 and had previously been with Gerald Eve Chartered Surveyors where he was involved in a wide range of general practise activities including planning appeals, valuation and rating assessments, and MAB private development company.
 
Andrew Holme (BSc (Hons), MRICS)
A Chartered Surveyor with 10 years’ property experience, Andrew is responsible for sourcing, acquiring, financing, asset managing and disposing of investment and development deals. Since joining CAM in 2005 he has been involved in over €350m of transactions. Andrew has wide ranging experience across all asset classes, having previously worked at Donaldsons before joining the CAM team.
 
Thomas Perschler (BA, MSc)
Financial and property analyst with 5 years experience in the sector preparing financial statements, performance reports, and analysis. Thomas joined Carpathian in 2008 and has been responsible for company reporting, analysing property performance, and risk assessment.
