Carpathian Asset Management Ltd (“CAM”) is appointed by Carpathian Plc as Property Investment Adviser.
CAM has an established presence in the Central and Eastern European retail property market and enjoys strong relationships with senior brokers and principal organisations in the region.

CAM is responsible for identifying acquisition targets, and managing transactions and portfolios on behalf of Carpathian Plc and its allied investors.

Senior professionals within CAM are involved in all stages of stock selection, negotiations, management strategies, and recommendations to the Carpathian Plc board. These professionals have long established working relationships, enabling a close operational understanding, good communication and a decisive approach.

The present team has been with Carpathian since inception in 2005.  The principals, Massimo Marcovecchio and Paul Rogers have been in partnership since 2000 and the wider management team is formed from a stable multi disciplinary platform.  The team previously operated in a JV under the name of Dawnay, Day PanTerra Ltd and undertook management of €1.2bn of assets. 
 
The team's track record is established in the arranging, negotiating and structuring of investor groups into real estate in the UK and CEE regions and delivering superior realised equity returns.

The senior management of CAM who are responsible for advising the Directors of Carpathian Plc are:

Paul Rogers (Dip Prop Inv FRICS)
Paul is a Chartered Surveyor with 31 years’ professional experience in the property sector and is a Director of CAM. Paul spent 13 years at Dawnay Day where he was Joint Managing Director of PanTerra. He worked previously with Conrad Ritblat (now CCRE) and was a partner in Hammond Philips Property Consultants. Paul has specialised in investment transactions, active management of multi-asset portfolios, lettings, sales, refurbishment and development.

Massimo Marcovecchio (BSc (Hons), MBA, MRICS, ACIOB, MBENG,)
Massimo, Director of CAM, is a chartered surveyor and engineer with 19 years’ experience in property investment and finance. Formerly Joint Managing Director of PanTerra, Massimo also previously worked within the corporate property finance team of the Rotch Property Group where he pioneered a number of innovative and leading edge financial engineering techniques.
 
Simon Killick
Simon qualified as a Solicitor in England in 1985 and acts as General Counsel to CAM. He is responsible for managing and co-coordinating the legal operations and corporate finance functions, including all legal aspects of fund structuring, fund investments, divestments and financings. Previously Group Legal Counsel at Dawnay Day International and a Corporate Partner at Olswang, Simon brings much experience to the team and has advised Carpathian PLC from inception to date.
 
Balazs Csepregi
Balazs is responsible for the finance function including investor relations, corporate finance, reporting, tax, risk management and corporate strategy.  He has 13 years' experience in international finance with 7 years spent in the real estate industry.  He trained with Arthur Andersen Hungary, then joined Man Group PLC in London and previously set up and managed the financial functions of real estate funds in Central and Southern Europe with CERPF B.V. (co-managed with Lehman Brothers and Jones Lang LaSalle) and Pradera AM PLC.

James Armstrong (BSc (Hons), MRICS)
A chartered Surveyor with 12 years’ property experience, James is responsible for sourcing, analysing, financing and executing investment and development deals. James has over 12 years of broad, cross-sector, real estate experience, having previously worked at CB Hillier Parker and Donaldsons before joining the PanTerra team in 2000.

Allan Munro-Faure (MRICS)
Allan is responsible for all development activities within the existing portfolio as well as new investments. Allan has 25 years’ experience in private consultancy and development advisory; he joined PanTerra in 2003 and had previously been with Gerald Eve Chartered Surveyors where he was involved in a wide range of general practise activities including planning appeals, valuation and rating assessments, and MAB private development company.
