Carpathian PLC is incorporated in the Isle of Man, under registered company number 004145V. As such, the rights of shareholders may be different from the rights of shareholders in a company incorporated in the United Kingdom.

Carpathian PLC was formed in July 2005, when on Admission to AIM it raised £140 million of equity by way of an offer to institutional investors. The Company was formed for the purpose of creating value by investing in commercial retail property assets in Central and Eastern Europe.

In April 2007 the Company announced its intention to issue a further £100 million by way of an additional offer to institutional investors. This Placing was successfully concluded in May 2007. The Placing was in response to the Company’s investment strategy which has evolved as new opportunities emerge in a dynamic market environment. Accordingly additional shareholder value can now be found in development projects showing strong locational and tenant demand characteristics. Therefore, while intending to focus predominantly on income producing assets, a substantial number of developments were also to be interrogated.

The Company is focused on those countries that have benefited from EU accession on 1 May 2004 and 1 January 2007 respectively. The company is currently operating in the following countries; Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Croatia and Romania.

The Company is externally advised by Carpathian Asset Management Limited which has access to a team of professionals resident in UK, Poland, Hungary and Romania.
